[Class 144 (ii)] A rim for wire-spoked wheels of cycles and other lightweight vehicles is formed with tubular side-walls 3 and a double-thickness well-base 5, the butt-ends being riveted to a channel-section plate 6 which is seated in recessed end-portions of the inner peripheral wall 2 of the rim.
