Abstract

449,040. Spoke - covering discs. CORNERCROFT, Ltd., Queen Victoria Road, and RYCROFT, N., 6, St. Patrick's Road, both in Coventry. Jan. 18, 1935, No. 1676. [Class 144 (i)] Relates to spokecovering discs for vehicle wheels of the kind in which the disc is adapted to be sprung into retained engagement with the rim of the wheel. According to the invention, a plurality of resilient segments e, which may have their free edges formed with tongues e2, are riveted or otherwise firmly secured to the disc c and engage frictionally with the rim a as the disc is pushed into position. A hub cap d is secured in position by a screw o and overlaps the inner edge of the disc c, in order to form a weathertight joint.
