422,770. Vehicle wheels. DUNLOP RUBBER CO., Ltd., 32, Osnaburgh Street, London, GOODYEAR, C. E., and WRIGHT, J., c /o Dunlop Rubber Co., Foleshill, Coventry. Aug. 7, 1934, No. 22835. [Class 144 (i)] A wheel comprises a pair of discs 1, 2 the outer edges of which are shaped to provide an asymmetric well-base rim, the inner disc 2 having a coned portion 13 and a radial attachment-flange 14. The portion 9 of the rim overhangs the flange 14 so as to reduce the width of wheel-track, and to accommodate the brake-drum. The abutting portions 6, 12 of the discs may be welded, riveted, or bolted together. The outer disc 1 is fitted with a bridge-piece 4 to which a hub-cap 3 is secured by a central nut 17.
