Abstract

469,632. Vehicle wheels; lubricator caps. RODIONOFF, B. July 29, 1936, No. 20944. Convention date, Aug. 13, 1935. [Classes 12 (iii) and 144 (i)] [Also in Group XI] A hub-cap 1, or a cover for an existing cap, is formed of rubber and secured by (a) a beaded edge 2, Fig. 2, engaging behind the plunged edge 3 of the wheel hub 4 ; or (b) clips 5, Fig. 3, engaging the wheel spokes 9 : or (c) a clip 8, Fig. 6, embracing a sleeve portion of the cap fitted over the hub-barrel. As shown in Fig. 6, the cap may be formed with an extended portion 4. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes also the use of such rubber caps as protectors for head-lamps, lanterns, and oil drain plugs. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
