Abstract

250,423. Ludlow, N. B. June 12, 1925. Hubs. - A hub closure comprises a polished metal cap 20 secured over a boss 12 formed on a flange-plate 10 adapted to be secured to the wheel. In the construction shown, the cap 20 is formed with an end flange 24 which abuts the plate 10, the boss 12 having a groove 14 into which the metal of the cap is worked as shown. The parts 20, 10 may be connected by discontinuous interengaging projections and recesses.
