506,451. Disinfectants ; sodium peroxide ; cleansing - compositions. PARIZOT, G. April 1, 1938, No. 10040. Convention date, April 5, 1937. [Class 81 (i)] [Also in Group III] Tablets comprising about 2 parts sodium peroxide and 3 parts sodium chloride are formed by compressing a mixture of these compounds. A substance, such as sodium phosphate, for precipitating hardening agents from hard water may be added to the mixture. Other agents, such as sodium carbonate or calcined soda, which do not decompose sodium peroxide,. may also be present. The tablets are used for the cleansing and disinfection of artificial dentures by placing them in water in which a denture is immersed. Specification 453,975 is referred to.
