504,868. Curtain-rod supports. WILDEN, (n6e FROMM), E. June 7, 1938, No. 16867. [Class 52 (v)] Brackets for supporting curtain rods at each side of a window frame comprise a lever a pivoted at e on the side wall b of the frame and carrying pivotally at its front end, which projects beyond the wall, a plate. c which rests against the wall under its own-weight and that of the curtains supported by it. As shown the plate c comprises a rectangular tube with a series of holes f through any one of which the pivot g may pass to-adjust the height of the curtain. An angular member i is carried in the upper end of both plates c and carries a batten k with eyes for supporting the rods or rails. The pivot e comprises a screw taking in a threaded plug driven into the wall. A small hole l is provided in each lever a through which a pin is driven to prevent the support from lifting when the angular members i are being removed.
