504,427. Gas meters. BINGHAM, J. H., and METROPOLITAN GAS METERS, Ltd. May 30, 1938, No. 16169. Drawings to Specification. [Class 54] The parts of a gas meter exposed to gas, including the meter casing, the gas measuring chambers, the rigid centre portions of the flexible diaphragms, the gas-way passages, the distributing valves, and the ported valve-plate are composed of a synthetic resin or a like non- metal plastic material; and screwed, clamped, or other easily disconnectable joints are provided between the parts to facilitate dismantling of the meter. The invention is described with reference to a meter construction described in Specifications 504,424, 504,425, and 504,426.
