Abstract

825,310. Gas meters. METERS Ltd. June 23, 1958 [July 1, 1957], No. 20647/57. Class 54. The diaphragm chambers of a dry gas meter of the two diaphragm type comprise two outer units a, b, each having gas ports x, y, z and a flag rod e, and an intermediate unit c which forms at its opposite sides parts of the two diaphragm chambers, the joints between the outer and intermediate units being made by the diaphragms q and the gas passages w to the intermediate chambers passing through the diaphragms. The two portions 10, 11 of the outer meter casing are bolted together and the diaphragm units have lugs resting on ledges between cheek-pieces in the lower portion. The gear-box i for the index mechanism is formed in the top of the intermediate unit.
