[Class 8 (ii)] [Also in Group III] The filtering-unit inside a spray-evaporator chamber consists of a bag d fitted to an air outlet c and provided with an axially displaceable valve g adapted to close either openings k communicating with the suction conduit or openings m communicating with the atmosphere. During normal operationthe openings m are closed, but periodically the openings k are closed and m opened, whereby the pressure inside the bag g becomes greater than that in the evaporating chamber, so that the powder adhering to the bag is dislodged and falls to the floor.
