Abstract
503,260. Bedstead joints. HOSKINS & SON, Ltd., and HAYNES, W. H. Dec. 21, 1937, No. 35322. [Class 52 (ii)] A joint for securing a mattress frame to a bedstead or to a wall-or other support comprises a. bracket a bifurcated to provide a slot or gap e into. which is received a tongue or flange k on the mattress frame. A screw g is fixed to the bracket a to pass across the gap e and through a hole in the front plate d, and the tongue k is slotted to receive the screw. The upper end of the slot is formed with a rounded or conical recess n into which fits the correspondingly shaped end of a nut i' on the screw g, the hole in the plate d being large enough to allow the nut to pass freely.
