[Class 52 (ii)] Means for supporting a wire mattress 7, or box mattress base or equivalent, in position between bed ends 14.comprises a tapered undercut projection 1 with a flange 6 extending under the mattress, the tapering projection and flange being secured by horizontal and vertical screws 8, 9. The tapering projection fits into a corresponding socket 10 on the bed end.
