Abstract

502,441. Drawing - apparatus for textile fibres. BOFILL, C. S. April 8, 1938, No. 10816. Convention date, April 10, 1937. [Class 120 (ii)] In high draft apparatus the bottom intermediate roller 7 is covered with rubber, the bottom feed and delivery rollers being plain and the top rollers covered with rubber and preferably mounted in ball bearings. Condensers and sliver guides 9, 10 are provided. In a four line roller head as shown, the third bottom roller 6 may be rubber covered or plain and the top rubber covered according to the degree of high draft. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also an arrangement wherein the bottom feed and delivery rollers, and, in a four line roller head, the third bottom roller also may be fluted. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specific tion as accepted.
