468,480. Drawing apparatus for spinning - machines. COLONIA GUELL SOC. ANON. July 2, 1936, No. 18413. Convention date, Nov. 20, 1935. [Class 120 (ii)] In sliver - drawing mechanism intermediate or secondary feed rollers 1, 5, Figs. 1 and 2, are provided in close proximity to the drawing rollers and comprise an upper porcupine roller 5 provided with substantially radial spurs or pins 6 extending in planes normal to the roller axis and co-operating with a lower fluted roller 1, the pins 6 being arranged to enter the flutes 4 and exert a combing action on the fibres. The rollers are interconnected by gears 7 or friction rings so as to rotate at the same speed.
