Abstract

500,381. Reservoir pads. SMITH, N. F. M. Oct. 5, 1937, No. 26990. [Class 19] An applicator for liquid medicaments, hair dyes and the like comprises a tubular container 1 preferably closed at the lower end and provided with a perforated stopper 3 of rubber to which a dabbing pad 6 of sponge rubber is attached by a central staple 7 which draws the pad into a cup 5 so as to present a hemispherical surface for dabbing. A valve 10 resting on a washer 8 can be closed by pushing in the stopper 3. Any other valve may be used or none.
