[Class 102 (i)] A fuel-injection pump comprises a number of parallel cylinders 2 arranged in a circle in a casing 1 having a chamber 12 fitted with an air extractor 13 positioned by a cover 14 having a fuel inlet 15 and an air outlet 22. The fuel from the extractor 13 flows into the chamber 12 which is connected to the pump cylinders by the ports 19.
