498,549. Windscreen-cleaners. TRICO PRODUCTS CORPORATION, and HORTON, E. C. Nov. 30, 1937, No. 33122. [Class 138 (i)] A wiper blade is provided with channels adapted to collect and hold moisture while the wiper is operating and to return the moisture to the screen, to lubricate it, as it begins to dry. The rubber or like blade has a bead 1, a flexible portion 3, an enlargement 5 with flanges 6, and a wiping edge 4 which is more flexible than the part 3. The side faces of the enlargement 5 are provided with ribs 8 defining moisture collecting channels 7 arranged at an angle to the edge 4. The sharp edges of the ribs may be arranged to engage, and clear dirt from, the windscreen.
