497,231. Clocks. LANFRANCONI, F. A., and BRITISH VACUUM CLEANER & ENGINEERING CO., Ltd. June 14, 1937, No. 16475. [Class 139] A battery holder for an electric clock comprises a recess formed in the base or casing 1 and divided by a partition 6 into a larger compartment 3 receiving a battery 4 and a smaller compartment 5 receiving conductors 9 leading to the clock mechanism, the partition 6 carrying a pair of terminal connectors 7 which contact with the battery terminals 8. A fastening member 10 carries a pin 13 which, when moved to the closed position, presses the battery into close contact with the terminal connectors.
