Abstract

497,110. Pipe joints. TOWERS, J.S., and JEFFS, J. A. Sept. 30, 1937, No. 26456. [Class 99 (i)] In a joint for glass pipes the flared ends of the pipes are surrounded by sleeves 16, 17 which are secured together such as by a nut 19, resilient packing sleeves 14, 15 being provided between each pipe and its sleeve. A rubber washer 20 may be placed between the pipe ends.
