[Class 80 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXVII and XXVIII] A device for controlling the timing of the fuel injection or ignition in an internal-combustion engine comprises discs 75a, 75b on a sleeve 75 mounted on a hub 72c and driven by a coupling 76 and carrying pins 81, 91 forming pivots for centrifugal weights 82, 92 gearing with teeth on the rim of a plate 72 integral with the hub 72c. The weights are loaded by springs 83, 93 pivoted to each weight. Specification 495,399, [Group XXVII], is referred to.
