[Class 96] A Fourdrinier papermaking machine flowbox has the upper lip B parallel to the upper run of the wire-cloth D and projecting beyond an inclined lower lip C, and the upper lip B is adjusted at F in its own plane to give a smooth, highspeed jet of pulp of the desired direction and position of impact on the wire-cloth D. The lower lip C may have similar adjustment.
