Abstract
Green moulded articles are obtained from a urea- or thiourea - formaldehyde moulding powder with which is incorporated a highly halogenated phthalocyanine, i.e. a phthalocyanine containing from 12 to 16 halogen atoms in the molecule, such as is described in Specification 461,268 or 478,256. The powder is made up by mixing wood meal or paper pulp with the syrupy urea- or thiourea-formaldehyde resinoid and adding the lubricant, accelerator and colouring matter, e.g. 0,01 per cent of copper hexadekachlorophthalocyanine and drying and grinding the mixture. Specifications 470,079 and 474,740 also are referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 461,268, 470,079, and 474,740.
