Abstract
A preponderant amount of chlorinated naphthalene and a smaller amount of polymerized isobutylene, preferably having a molecular weight of between about 10,000 and 50,000, are mixed to give a wax-like product. Small proportions of a resin and/or bitumen may also be incorporated. In an example 80 parts of chlorinated naphthalene are mixed with 10 parts of polymerized isobutylene with a molecular weight of 30,000 to 40,000 and 1 part of colophony and/or 5 parts of bitumen.ALSO:A preponderant amount of chlorinated naphthalene and a smaller amount of polymerized isobutylene, preferably having a molecular weight of between about 10,000 and 50,000, are mixed to give a wax-like product. Small proportions of a resin and/or bitumen may also be incorporated. In an example, 80 parts of chlorinated naphthalene are mixed with 10 parts of polymerized isobutylene with a molecular weight of 30,000 to 40,000 and 1 part of colophony and/or 5 parts of bitumen.
