Abstract

488,848. Endless-track vehicles. PRIESTMAN BROS., Ltd., and PRINCE, S. April 1, 1938, No. 10044. [Class 79 (i)] In an endless-track vehicle of the kind in which wheels 6 at the ends of the track bear part of the load, two or more rigid three-armed levers 12 are pivoted at 10 to the vehicle chassis 2 between the upper and lower runs of the track 4, the two lower arms of each lever carrying load-bearing rollers 16 engaging the lower run of the track and the upper arm carrying a roller 20 supporting and guiding the upper run of the track. The chassis may support a crane or excavator.
