[Class 79 (i)] The load-supporting rollers b of an endlesstrack vehicle are mounted on independentlysprung levers c, Fig. 3, or e, Fig. 4, and overlap as shown, the axes of the outer rollers passing between the inner rollers. The rollers may be double and mounted on cranked levers controlled by springs d as shown in Figs. 1 and 3, or they may be single and mounted on transverse halfaxles or levers e as shown in Fig. 4. The levers e may be controlled by helical springs or by transverse laminated springs, and may have rubber pivots on the chassis.
