Abstract

A catamenial towel consists of several layers of cellulose wadding made up into a pad and enclosed in a cover of gauze or knitted hose, a layer or sheet of water-impermeable material, such as rubber or a textile fabric, paper, or, the like impregnated with rubber, guttapercha linseed oil, synthetic resin, or the like, being placed between the layers adjacent one side of the pad.
