Abstract

486,691. Insulators. RAHIM, A. March 17, 1937, No. 7865. [Class 36] Two insulators, each comprising a base part 1 and an outer part 5 between which a conductor is clamped, are attached to a post 2 by a single bolt 3 which also serves as the means for clamping the two parts of each insulator to the conductors. The bolt may have a hook-shaped end for embracing the outer part of one insulator, whilst the other end is screw threaded and receives a nut 9 adapted to press on a hook or finger 7 which is slidably mounted on the bolt and engages the outer part of the other insulator. The insulators are preferably constructed as described in Specification 412,712.
