Abstract
637,749. Switch contacts. TELEMECANIQUE ELECTRIQUE. Sept. 25, 1947, No. 26072. Convention date, Oct. 1, 1946. [Class 38 (v)] Electrical components, such as contacts, which must be insulated from each other, are mounted on an insulated bar 4 by means of bolts or screws, insulated from at least one of the components. Contact supports 1, 2 and 6 are secured to the bar 4 by bolts 7 having removable sheaths 9, of insulating plastic material, covering the heads and about twothirds of the shanks of the bolts. The sheaths may be continued by insulating sockets 101 which have bevelled edges adjacent the sheaths. Differences in the sizes of the bolt-holes in different components may be compensated for by the use of an insulating socket 10. The supporting means for the bar 4 may also be fixed to the contacts in the same way.
