[Class 82 (ii)] [Also in Group V] In separating starch from gluten, mill starch is introduced at 20 into a centrifuge C, and the frothed gluten overflow 10 is introduced into a separator B having a receiving board 14, paddle wheel 17, and weir 12. The gluten is drawn off at 16, residual starch at 18, and water containing traces of starch and gluten at 19.
