482,851. Moulding buttons from synthetic resin. GRABNER, W., HINKELMANN, H., SEIFERT, O., and REUSSNER, P., (trading as GRABNER & CO.). May 31, 1937, No. 15087. [Class 87 (ii)] [Also in Group VII] A series of buttons connected together in the form of a plate in which a weakening groove with strengthening ribs is provided round each button is moulded from synthetic resin in a press having upper and lower dies 8 and 7 respectively. The dies 8 and 7 may be composed of a number of separate die punches 81, 7<1>. Lifting pins 9 are provided for removing the finished plate from the machine. The holes in the button are produced by projections formed in the solid material of the die. Specification 438,847 is referred to.
