Abstract

482,006. Hoods. BELLAU, H. Jan. 5, 1937, Nos. 327 'and 9894. [Class 108 (i)] [Also in Groups X and XVII] A flexible closure member or panel b for a roof ventilator of a vehicle is adapted to be secured on at least two sides by strip fastening means c, c<1>, and has a coil spring attached to or embodied therein so that the closure member rolls up as it is unfastened. Straps or the like h are provided to secure the member when opened. The free edges of the panel may overlie the fasteners and at the front edge it may be secured by press-buttons. The clasps of the fasteners may be connected by a bridge-piece to operate them simultaneously. The members may be duplicated, the free ends abutting when closed. The bridge-pieces may be adapted to act as a handle.
