[Class 47 (ii)] In a hand air-foam extinguisher of the kind comprising a container for highly-com. pressed air which is discharged into the foaming liquid in an outer container when a valve is opened, and a reducing nozzle for reducing the pressure of the released air, a single reducing nozzle d is arranged between the gas container and the airrelease valve v, so that access of the foaming liquid to the nozzle is prevented. A gauze screen s is arranged between the air container and the nozzle. Specification 279,906, [Class 47 (ii)], is referred to.
