Abstract
477,553. Actuation of switches. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., GIVEN, R. D., and BERRY & CO., Ltd., H. July 3, 1936, No. 18563. [Class 38 (v)] [Also in Group XXIX] In a compressed-air loaded accumulator, rocking switches L controlling the valves carry solenoids or permanent magnets J moved to actuate the switches by an armature C carried by the float. Mercury switches or fixed and moving contact switches may be employed. Additional floats actuating switches as described above may control lamps or similar indicators for indicating the approximate level of liquid in the accumulator.
