Abstract
477,311. Bearings. JOHNSON BRONZE CO. March 23, 1936, Nos. 8659 and 8660. Void. Convention dates, April 3, 1935 and Jan. 23, 1936. [Classes 12 (i)] [Also in Group IX] The bearing surfaces of the saddles 16, 17 of spinning-machine rollers are formed of bronze with solid lubricant carried in slots 18, or as shown in Fig. 9, steel bearing-plates 118 are held in the saddles by bosses 124 and carry a layer of, say, babbit metal with insets of solid lubricant, or bearing- plates are carried by undercut recesses in the saddles.
