[Class 12 (i)] A cage of sheet material, e.g. steel, for a double row roller bearing comprises an annular foundation ring 7 provided with tongues 8, 9 extending alternately on opposite sides to form staggered roller pockets ; each part 10 of the ring between two tongues extending to the same side of the ring to form a roller pocket is offset laterally towards the end face 11 of the roller contained in said pocket. The cage is thus guided by the end faces of the rollers. In the bearing shown, the inner circumference of the ring 7 is not bulged; this portion may be bulged if the rollers are sufficiently far apart, or where the axes of the rollers are parallel.
