475,460. Refrigerators. ELECTROLUX, Ltd. Jan. 19, 1937, No. 1583. Convention date, Jan. 28, 1936. [Class 29] A refrigerator cabinet includes an insulating door frame 12 supporting inner and outer walls 10, 15 and intermediate insulation 14, the flanged edges 18 of the outer walls 15 engaging in grooves 19 in the front face of the door frame 12, the jambs of which may act as cabinet feet. The inner wall 10 is flanged at 11 where it is secured by nails 13 in a groove located in the frame 12 or between the frame and insulation 14, for example, of cork. The door consists of a metal sheet 20 flanged at 21 and surrounding a frame 22 to which it is nailed at 21. The door packing strip 24 overlaps the groove 19 and is secured by screws 25 with the inner door frame 27 supporting the spaced sheet insulators 26. The insulation 14 may comprise cardboard containers covered with foil nailed to the frame 12 which is then formed in two portions as indicated by dotted lines secured together by screws 28, the flanged edges of the outer walls 15 engaging in grooves in the frame portions 12a which are extended to form the cabinet feet.
