Abstract
475,134. Theodolites. ASKANIAWERKE AKT.-GES. VORM. CENTRALWERKSTATT DESSAU UND C. BAMBERGFRIEDENAU. May 15, 1936, No. 13876. Convention date, May 31, 1935. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Nov. 16, 1936.] [Classes 97 (i) and 97 (ii)] An eyepiece head for a theodolite carries a light source 2 for illuminating a lined plate 3, a filter 4 which can be swung out of the optical path, and a support 5 for a finder telescope 6. As shown, current is conducted to the electric lamp 2 through the spring urged contact 7 which upon rotation of the eyepiece head slides on the stationary contact rail 7<1>. The filter 4 swings about an axis 8 perpendicular to the optical axis N.
