474,864. Animal - carrying vehicles. JENNINGS & SON, Ltd., J. H., and JENNINGS, J. H. Dec. 2, 1936, No. 33046. [Class 108 (i)] An animal-carrying vehicle has the roof rounded at the rear end and a door for the passage of the animals in the rear wall of the vehicle, the door comprising two portions, one portion being pivoted about its lower edge and adapted to be lowered to form a ramp and the other portion being curved to conform to the roof and pivoted at its upper edge. As shown, the lower portion c<1> of the rear door incorporates a small part of the curve shape provided at the rear top of the vehicle and the upper portion c<2> may be raised and held in desired position. The upper portion c<2> is adapted to overlap the upper edge of the lower portion c<1>, weather strips g, h, l, k being provided. A side door q may be provided adapted to be used as a ramp, inner doors s fitting inside the door q.
