Abstract

329,521. Vincent, W. J., and Vincent, H. E. May 30, 1929. Animal-carrying vehicles.-In motor road vehicles for carrying animals and goods the space at the side of the driver in utilized to extend the body on one side and the position of the side opening and its door or ramp is advanced. As shown, a portion a of the front is hinged to a fixed portion a' and is adapted to be swung forwardly to a door opening comprising a frame f which is advanced as shown to permit ease of ingress and egress. In travelling position the portion a may be held in alignment with the portion a<1> by a hinged or detachable seat d and a stop. The portion a may be arranged otherwise than by hinging. The portion a is provided with a shield k adapted to close a triangular opening in the canopy j. A rear ramp h is provided.
