377,577. Vehicle doors. ANDISON, S. I., Otterburn Hall Hotel, Otterburn, Newcastle. Jan. 30, 1932, No. 2821. [Class 108 (i).] In commercial vehicles a sliding roof or canopy is operatively connected to the doors so as to form a shelter above the doors when the latter are open. A roof a is adapted to slide in guides g, rubber rollers &c. x being provided to prevent rattling. A member n secured to the roof a is provided with a slot in which pins m on the doors d engage so that as the doors open and close the roof a is withdrawn from and retracted into the vehicle b. The sliding roof a may be guided in any suitable way.
