Abstract
474,378. Photographic cameras. I. G. FARBENINDUSTRJE AKT.-GES. April 29, 1936, No. 12185. Convention date, April 30, 1935. [Class 98 (i)] A miniature camera having a sliding member provided with gripping-means for feeding the film is provided with a rectilinearly-moving setting pin for simultaneously operating the film feed-plate and the shutter which is so arranged that the movement of the feed-plate and setting pin are at right-angles. The setting pin 1, Fig. 1, operates the film-feeding slide 6 through a bell-crank 3 having pin-andslot connections 4, 5 with the pin 1 and slide 6 respectively. The slide 6 carries grips 7 engaging the film and operates the shutter slides 9, 10 against the action of a spring by means of a pin 8. The setting pin may be arranged to fold by forming it in two parts with a rule joint retained in the operative position by a spring detent 12, Fig. 3. The shutter setting and film feeding pin, focusing means and release pin are all arranged within reach of the forefinger of the hand holding the camera. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 also describes a shutter comprising slides 9, 10, Fig. 6 (Cancelled), held on the set position by a hook 10b on the slide 10 engaging a pin 21 actuated by the shutter mechanism. The shutter slide 9 carries a detent 9c engaged by a hook 22a formed on a lever 22 actuated by the release pin 19. It also describes the focusing arrangement shown in Fig. 7 (Cancelled), in which a wheel 18 adjusts the objective by gearing 23 simultaneously with the adjustment of one prism of a rangefinder by a cam 27 and lever 28. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
