474,047. Supporting lamps. SOC. ANON. POUR LES APPLICATIONS DE L'ELECTRICITE ET DES GAZ RARES ETABLISSEMENTS CLAUDE-PAZ &SILVA. April 23, 1936, No. 11641. Convention date, Feb. 7. [Class 75 (iii)] In means for illuminating a space between distant supports, e.g. parts of a metal framework to be illuminated, plates 11 carrying electric lamp sockets 18 are slidably mounted by means of tubular ends 14 on cables 1, stretched between the supports 9, 10, and are connected by one or more cables 15 by means of which they may be drawn up to one or other of the supports for inspection &c. The cable 15 is connected to winding devices on the supports and the cables 1 may extend horizontally or vertically. The lamps are supplied through flexible conductors 16, 17. Tubular discharge lamps are mounted in elongated reflectors secured as by hooks between plates slidable on the cables 1, tractor cables 15 being connected to the end plates.
