Controlling consuming devices. - The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises the following. For dimming electric lamps using alternating current, means are provided for switching or placing a condenser into series with them. To do this, the lamp bulb may be removed from the holder and an adapter containing a condenser 5 interposed between them. The Specification as accepted limits the application of this principle to a particular form of adapters for lamp-holders.
