473,419. Sewing machines. FAIRWEATHER, W. C. (Singer Manufacturing Co.) July 27, 1937, No. 20699. [Class 112] A rotary loop-taker has a lubricant-absorbing pad secured against the outer face of the cylindrical wall of the thread case. The pad 24 is held against the outer face of the side wall 11 of the thread case 12 by a strap 25 secured at its ends by screws 26. Lubricant is supplied to the top of the pad and seeps along and through the pad to supply oil to the bearings.
