Abstract
473,257. Supports for electric lamp filaments. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. May 11, 1937, No. 13424. Convention date, May 25, 1936. [Class 39 (ii)] In a miniature electric incandescent lamp of the type in which the leading-in wires 4, 5 supporting a helical filament 2 are united by a glass bead 3 between their entry into the envelope and their attachment to the filament, the leading-in wires, on the upper side of the bead, are both bent at 4<11>, 5<11> respectively in planes perpendicular to a median plane of the lamp passing through both leading-in wires on the lower side of the bead, and their upper ends are formed into hooks 9, 10 perpendicular to the median plane, into which the downwardly projecting ends 2<1> of the helical filament are clamped, the filament being in the median plane.
