473,145. Drainage. GROENIGER, W. C. April 6, 1936, No. 10157. Convention date, April 4, 1935. [Class 33] A half-siphon leg for attachment to the lateral outlet of a water-closet &c. so as to form, with the discharge passage of the basin, a complete siphon, comprises a horizontal part 12, a depending middle one - piece portion 13 which decreases gradually in cross-sectional area and is connected to the part 12 by an elbow 14 and a laterally-extending foot-portion 17 which is adapted for horizontal or vertical adjustment or both relative to said middle portion. The part 12 has a thickened wall 11 and the parts 13, 17 telescope together, the latter being provided with a socket 19 having a shoulder 19a. The foot part is dished at 17a and is provided with a projection 16 which may be as shown in Fig. 1 or inclined as shown in Fig. 3. In the latter case, the wall of the foot-portion is correspondingly shaped. Specification 452,338 is referred to.
