Abstract

472,939. Vehicle wheels. DUNLOP RUBBER CO., Ltd., HARDEMAN, W. E., and DAW, R. F. Aug. 22, 1936, No. 23123. [Class 144 (i)] Strakes 5, detachably fitted to a ring 1 adapted to be bolted to the side of a tractor wheel, have their inner ends and sides seated against recessed portions 8 and noses 9 of lugs 7 formed on web-portions 2 of the ring. The strakes are secured by set screws 3, 4 and are also formed with apertures 10 to receive studs 11 on the ring. When not required, the strakes may be secured in reversed position so as not to project beyond the tyre tread.
