Abstract

Food for horses is made by crushing and steaming oats freed from dust and other impurities and then compressing the crushed material into briquettes. Herbaceous fodder such as hay freed from dust &c. may be mixed with the crushed oats before compressing into briquettes. The briquettes have a glazed surface which protects them from mildew, moisture, &c.ALSO:Food for horses is made by crushing and steaming oats freed from dust and other impurities and then compressing the crushed material into briquettes.
