471,944. Aircraft landing - gear. DELANNE, M. H. April 15, 1936, No. 10901. Convention date, June 29, 1935. [Class 4] Landing-gear for an aircraft comprises a single front wheel c disposed in the plane of symmetry of the aircraft and in front of the centre of gravity G thereof, the wheel being carried by a stirrup retractable into the fuselage by a simple pivotal action, and has members disposed laterally at the rear of the aircraft as far as possible from the centre of gravity. As shown, the rear members comprise wheels D<1>, D<2> carried by a tailplane. The latter may be retractable into fixed fins. Skids or like devices may substitute the wheels. Specification 258,917, [Class 4], is referred to.
