[Class 4] Retractable landing-gear for aircraft comprises pairs of wheels e, e' arranged fore and aft of the centre of gravity of the aircraft and foldable towards each other. A pair of wheels is arranged under each nacelle of a multi-engined aircraft and fold into the nacelle. The wheels of each pair may overlap when folded. The wheels may be mounted on a supporting framework f<2> which transmits the loads from one wheel to the other.
